HelixSphere Technologies Incorporated has appointed Mr. Michael Sheppard to the company's Board of Directors. Mr. Sheppard is an MBA honors graduate of the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chausées in Paris, France, with concentration in International Marketing and Global Strategy, complemented with studies at Berkley (CA), MIT, Harvard and the University of Bristol, England. Mr. Sheppard also holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary in marketing and operations management. Mr. Sheppard speaks French and conversational American Sign Language. According to Mr. Robert Chin, President of HelixSphere, "Mr. Sheppard will add a much needed dynamic and resource to the systems approach that HelixSphere subscribes to for long-term growth and value for its shareholders." This systems approach will have Mr. Sheppard actively seeking mergers and acquisitions along with forging new alliances and strategic partnerships. Mr. Sheppard is excited about the substantial opportunities presented by HelixSphere's innovative technology and is assisting with streamlining growth initiatives and executing financing strategies along with Mr. Chin. Mr. Sheppard was the recipient of numerous awards and recognition while representing his school at MBA forums in Boston and Houston. He was the winner of MIT's 1996 '1K Business Idea' Competition (Consumer Product Category) and awarded "Outstanding Written Business Plan" during the 1997 Moot Corp. Business Plan Competition in Austin, Texas.
